For this, every player in the squad will not only need a Nintendo Switch and a copy of Splatoon 3, but a mobile device compatible with the app and a headset connected also.
Of course, if using the official app is not ideal, players can use the likes of Skype or Discord to communicate while online. However, the only official method of communication in Splatoon 3 is the method above using the Nintendo Switch Online app.
