However, there are some clothes that are un-orderable. These clothes include gear that is only unlocked by leveling up or completing story mode. Lastly, there are clothes that are only given through certain Amiibos. One of the most popular Amiibo outfits is the school uniform.
What Is The School Uniform?
The school uniform outfit consists of three parts. The main outfit comes in two variants with variant A consisting of a plaided skirt that can change its color along with whatever ink the player has equipped. Variant B is a shorter sweater with no skirt. For the headgear, the school uniform is a squid hair clip. Lastly, the outfit includes school shoes.
Every piece of the outfit has a two-star rarity, meaning it usually comes with two more ability slots. In terms of abilities, the squid hair clip typically has the Swim Speed Up ability, the main uniform has Ink Recovery Up, and the shoes have Ink Saver.
How To Get The Uniform
The specific Amiibo required to obtain the uniform is the Inkling Girl. She is an old Amiibo released with the first Splatoon game back in May 2015. Her design is an orange inkling girl with long hair, a white t-shirt, pink shoes, and a Splattershot weapon. Currently, she can be bought in stores or online at varied prices.
Once purchased, the player must go to the Amiibo box that sits in the center plaza of Splatsville. The box will instruct the player to press the bottom of the Amiibo to the right analog stick. This will upload the Amiibo’s data and the inkling girl will appear and talk to the player. She will immediately give one part of the outfit. The rest will need to be unlocked by participating in turf battles. Upload the Inkling Girl into the Splatsville box once in a while between tuft battles. Slowly, she will give the player the rest of the outfit pieces.
