About a week ago, Nintendo hosted a large-scale Direct for one of the year’s most anticipated titles, Splatoon 3. This Direct unveiled a great deal of information about the upcoming game, ranging from some new weapons, maps, and modes, to the intricacies of Splatoon 3’s faster combat flow. But hidden among the rest was the announcement that Splatoon 3 is going to be using Nintendo Switch Online’s mobile app, something that even die-hard Nintendo fans had long forgotten....

There doesn’t appear to be a lot of unique new content coming in Splatoon 3, despite being an enumerated sequel rather than DLC like Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion. Splatoon 3 features a new setting called the Splatlands, story content, multiplayer maps, and abilities, as one would expect from this kind of multiplayer shooter. However, there doesn’t appear to be a new game mode akin to Splatoon 2’s Salmon Run. Hopefully this lean focus on improving the existing formula means Splatoon 3 will avoid the stigma of incomplete content that has plagued other Nintendo outings in recent years....

At the moment, players can download the Splatfest World Premiere and create a character. Once a starting character is made, and the short tutorial of Splatoon 3’s controls and mechanics are complete, the only option available is to wander around the new hub area named Splatsville. Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell remake was announced in late 2021 to the delight of many fans. The remake is far from release, and recent job openings indicate that Ubisoft Toronto is still actively recruiting directors and coordinators for what will surely be a significant undertaking. However, even twenty years since its initial release, the original Splinter Cell remains one of the key innovators in the stealth genre and should serve as the blueprint for the upcoming remake....

In a heated exchange about sex, Hannah sent Luke P home with a middle finger and no kind goodbye....

Hometown hero Kurt Angle has been announced to appear on the show. He will reportedly show up in a segment featuring The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, sharing a milkshake with the former. While it was not reported, he might even attack the heels for a hometown pop. The story of Dexter Lumis and his abduction of The Miz will continue as both will be appearing tonight. Security guards will reportedly be shown to enhance the story even further....
